On September 1st, 2024, Carsten O’Beirne took over the position of CEO at Mall + Herlan GmbH in Pfinztal and Neuhausen ob Eck. He is taking over the position as part of a planned succession from Stefan Mairiedl.

After studying mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart and graduating as “Diplom Ingenieur” in engineering, he held several management positions at well-known companies in the measurement and process automation industry and mechanical engineering sectors. After holding positions at Fraunhofer IPA and Endress+Hauser, Carsten O’Beirne was Managing Director of ABB Automation GmbH and responsible for the business unit measurement and analytics in Central Europe. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at Herrmann Ultraschalltechnik in Karlsbad, Baden-Württemberg.
